Wild and Free

Leave me thus,

in the dirt-

at the mercy of all elements,

the rain and shine, 

the dawn and dusk;

let it be the test of my strengths,

more importantly my weaknesses;

maybe then,

despite it all,

or maybe because-

I'll gain colors and grow true.
